Don't Forget About Your Public Library... The East Regional Library

The East Regional Library of the WCPL system is a fantastic public library branch with tons of FREE programs.  Check out what they have going on for you.

These programs run September 2 - November 30, 2014: 

See Spot Read - every 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.: kids can practice reading to (very friendly and loveable) therapy dogs.
2nd-3rd Book Blast - 2nd Friday of the month at 4:30 p.m.: the first book we're reading and discussing is Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute by Jarrett Krosoczka
4th-5th Jr. Critics - 3rd Friday of the month at 4:30 p.m.: the first book we're reading and discussing is Danny's Doodles: the jelly bean experiment by David Adler
K-2nd Adventures - every Tuesday at 6 p.m.: Library Seek & Find Challenges throughout the month + Arroz con Leche
3rd-5th Adventures - every Thursday at 4:30 p.m.: Library Seek & Find Super Challenges throughout the month + creating Animoto movies
Learning with Legos - every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. (starts September 23): Build with our Legos - a Teen Leadership Corps hosted event.

K-5th Super Special - Friday, September 26 at 4:30 p.m.: Minecraft
K-5th Super Special - Thursday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m.: Howling Halloween Fun
K-5th Super Special - Saturday, November 29 at 1 p.m.: Cookie Houses
